Diane,

According to Sarah's 1897 obituary, her father James Boyd came to Canada prior to the turn of the century from Ireland. Sarah was one of 10 children and I know of one sister a Mrs. Mathew Tait who survived Sarah and was living in Moncton, NB at the time of Sarah's death. Family Search has a James Boyd marrying a Jane Jonia??? on Dec 4, 1806 in Westmorland Co, NB. Could be the same James. As for the children of Sarah Boyd and Christian Trites, I have nine.
