I hope I can revive this thread. I'm trying to fill in more Trites in my family database and came across the 1851 census listing of Christian and Sarah's family discussed here. What I haven't been able to figure out is who are the parents of Christian (b. ca 1805)? Was it perhaps Christian Trites and Catherine Jones? I have nine children for them but not any Christian Jr...
An unrelated (or perhaps related) inquiry which I probably should be putting into a separate message is does anyone know about the origins of Lewis Trites and Ann Jones who married in 1843 in Westmorland County (listed in the New Brunswick Arhives Marriage Bonds database)?
