Dear Tringham enthusiasts, you may be interested in what I know of the Bristol branch. Francis Tringham my grandfather came from Droitwich (just south of Birmingham and close to Herefordshire) circa 1890 where he lived with wife Mabel and children, Cyril, Ernest (my father b. 1910) Muriel and Barbara. Barbara is the yougest and only current survivor of that generation and in her 80's now living in Devon. The Droitwich family had several members and apparently were very religious, founding churche(s) there. I have photos tucked away in the back of a drawer somewhere of who I believe to be Francis's father and siblings. There may have been a rift between Francis and his father. By coincidence I now live in Herefordshire and have come across an Alan Tringham, who's father was the village school teacher in Much Cowarne Herefs. There is/was another Tringham on staff at Bulmers in Herefs I understand. I heard there are some Tringham gravestones at Staunton on Wye to the west of Hereford, not far from Kington. My own surviving brothers and sisters, Alan (another one), Charles and Helena live in Cornwall, London and Bristol respectively. I would like to hear about Droitwich connection and possible link to hereford if anyone knows!
