Obediah and Lucy (Stribling) Trimmier did have a son Obediah Watson Trimmier who was born 9 Oct. 1809. He m. 1835 Catherine N. Ballew and they lived in Georgia. (There were several Obediah's.) The one of Monroe co,Ms., who came to Texas, had a brother James W. Trimmier, War of 1812, and of Hanover co, Va. 1854. Your Obediah said he was born in Va 1789 (per 1850 census Harrison co. Tx.) Obediah & Lucy's children were born in S.C. [My descent is from Thomas Stribiling Trimmier b. 1793]
