Trimbles in Kentucky

I'm roadblocked by the following family and was wondering if anyone might be able to help in any way.My 3rd great-grandparents were John TRIMBLE and Prudence "Prudy" SIMMS.According to his Civil War records, John TRIMBLE was born circa 1800 in Morgan Co., KY and died February 4, 1865 in Mound City, Pulaski Co., Illinois. His wife Prudence SIMMS was born circa 1828 in Ohio. They were married August 14, 1845 in Gallatin Co., Illinois and had at least 3 children: Nancy J. TRIMBLE (b. circa 1846), William H. TRIMBLE (b: circa 1849 in IL; wife was named Sarah), and Alice Belle TRIMBLE (b: November 12, 1855 in Shawneetown, Gallatin Co., Illinois; d: July 24, 1912; husband was John Wesley HALLEY).These families eventually moved to Craighead Co., Arkansas.
