My name is Bob Triggs. I was born in London in 1938, and have been living in Adelaide South Australia since 1967. I am descended from the Triggs family of Portsmouth. My father was Leslie George Triggs, born in Portsmouth in 1905, son of George Alfred Triggs, born in 1877. His father was William Triggs, born in 1843, and William's father was Thomas Triggs, who owned a tailor's shop in New Road Portsmouth.
I have quite a bit of information on all the above, including birth marriage and death certificates. For example, I know Thomas Triggs married Elizabeth Lambeth in 1843, while William married Mary Jane Ann Grafton in 1911. George Alfred married Edith Rees, wile my father married Eva Morris in 1928.
