My husband, Vernon Tridle, is a descendent of George Tridle, who immigrated from the Black Forest region of Germany abt. 1806 at age 17, and Elizabeth Frantz. George had 2 wives in the U.S., Margaret Wilkinson and Elizabeth Frantz. George and Margaret lived first in Maryland, then moved to Clarks County, Ohio where Margaret died c. 1830. They produced 6 children. George then married Elizabeth in 1834 in Ohio, moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana. George & Elizabeth had 4 children. According to a biography of George in a Kosciusko County publication, George came to the US with an older brother. Would like to share info and find out the brother's name, what happened to him, where exactly they came from, and so forth. Please email me if you can help.
