I have a marriage date of 23 May 1802. I'm not sure where I got it. Could have come from the marriage records of Rev William Smart (who would marry Sarah Mallory , daughter of the traitor Benajah Mallory, when he was 73).

It could have been Bennington, but the Mallorys had lived in Canada for 12 years at that point. A number married in Jeffeson Co NY .

I happened on the Ayers Hunter connection while following the Hunter family from Jefferson Co; i.e. Charles Trickey's marriage to Amelia Hunter. Charles was son of Peter Trickey who had married Mercy Mallory, sister of Pheobe who married Clossen Ayers and brother to Isreal Mallory who married Phoebe Ayers.
