Hi! - I got it all wrong, it was on my mother's side that the name of Tricker pops up.

An Emma Tricker was supposedly born in Ipswich around 1858 (not confirmed) and died in 1948 in High Wycombe. She was my mothers grandmother and had married a Henry Stannard who was born around 1838 (not confirmed. He died in 1918 in High Wycombe.

I am told by by mother who is now 90, that she thought Emma Tricker was a housemaid or lower for a large house owned by a rich family and that poor old Henry was a Hansom Cab driver in London. My Mum's mum was born in High Wycombe in 1893.

I hope all this information relates in some way to your Tricker.

Please let me know how you get on..

Regards

Roger
