hmmm.
my line is that of j.h. trice, who married amy louise bowles. near as i can figure, samuel thompson trice and sarah h. smith were his parents.
j.h. and amy louise had three kids; sarah alice b. 1884, mary ida, b. 1890, and john c, b. 1895.
i have a very old pic of j.h, amy louise, and kids in front of their house. next to them is an adult male identified as 'sam'. my guess is that sam is a brother to j.h., perhaps henry samuel, b. 1853.

altho i see some of the info is incorrect on the linked above, it looks as if s.t. and sarah had six kids.
