Thank you for your information David, but I've managed to trace my Trice line back to my great great great grandmother Frances Elizabeth Trice (born Maidstone 1825 and died Maidstone 1898), and am now trying to trace her mother Mary Ann Trice(nee Paul). She was born in Maidstone in 1800.
Mary Ann Paul married James Trice in 1822, and James died in Maidstone in 1826, so I think Mary Ann must have married again. There are a lot of Mary Ann Trice's in Kent, so perhaps she re-married if widowed so young. I believe James Trice was born in Thurnham in 1795.
