Esquire. George Thomas CONGREVE of Coombe Lodge, Peckham, Surrey. Esquire. SUBJECT William Tribe is selling property in West Tarring, Sussex, to George Congreve for £3500. It is a plot of 10 acres in Tarring Town Field which had once been copyhold land of the Manor of West Tarring with Marpost, created by an enclosure act of 1808. It was converted into Freehold land in 1843 and came into the hands of William Tribe.
