William Foard TRIBE formerlyof Worthing, but now of the Manor House, Broadwater, Sussex. Esquire.
George Thomas CONGREVE of Coombe Lodge, Peckham, Surrey. Esquire.

SUBJECT
William Tribe is selling property in West Tarring, Sussex, to George Congreve for £3500. It is a plot of 10 acres in Tarring Town Field which had once been copyhold land of the Manor of West Tarring with Marpost, created by an enclosure act of 1808. It was converted into Freehold land in 1843 and came into the hands of William Tribe.

The property is bounded on the South by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway and on the West by the highway from Worthing to West Tarring.
