Max,

On p. 11 of the 1840 Abbeville Census is an Elizabeth Kitchen -- she appears to be a widow. Since she lived between Jacob Loner Sr, and Jacob Loner Jr., I assumed that she was Delilah Amanda's mother. She's between 30 and 40, so it's possible. Since Jacob Jr is not in my direct line, I have not done much research on him or Delilah Amanda Kitchen. I'm afraid this is the best I can give you.
