It has been awhile since I have been on this website but I want to thank everyone who has answered me on my quest for my ancestors. I'm still looking for where my great grandparents may be buried and what happened to my great grandpa Iasiah or Josiah Pittman. My Aunt Virginia said he stole either mules or horses from the military and was on the run. He was her grandpa! I believe he fought for the Confederacy so he probably thought the U.S. Army owed him!
