NZ Treweeks (1842 onwards)
Hello all,
I finally went through all the old family documents and photographs and have worked out the family history as far back as I can go with that information. I live in Australia but it has only been in the last 30 years that our family has come over here from New Zealand.
Like many Treweeks on this side of the world our line descends from John and Honor Treweek who arrived in Australia in 1842 (and then down through Frederick Treweek). My family and I are visting Cornwall early next year and would like to have traced the line back over there. I have a lengthy newspaper article on John Treweek which indicates that before emigrating to NZ he lived on afarm in Cornwall (not very specific). I have read that his father was Samuel Treweek (one of a number of Samuel Treweeks apparently) but have no further information than that.
Below is a URL to a gif file which shows my family tree (on the Treweek side) as far back as I can get it.

Any information on it and especially on John and Honor before their emigration would be fantastic! Email : [email protected]
Thanks!
Danielle Treweek
