"Mrs. Lucy Trescott, wife of Chauncey Trescott, died at Nirvana January 18, 1886, and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Evart Township, January 20 [1886]. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judah Custer of Evart Township."

EVART REVIEW: 5 Feb. 1886, Pg.5:3 #696
Mrs. Lucy Trescott, wife of Chauncey Trescott, died on July 18, 1886, at Nirvana, Lake Co., and was buried at Woodland Cemetery, Evart township, Jan. 20th. Her death was a sad loss to all with whom she was acquainted, and especially her husband, parents and sisters. She was a loving woman and trusting wife. Their loss--her death--will be her eternal gain. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judah Custer of Evart township.

Section D, Block 11, Lot 4, Grave 2, John Elder lot, Age 27. Died in childbirth. ON STONE:
                     "LUCY" & "REST IN PEACE".

There was an error in giving burial place as Woodland Cemetery, Evart Twp.
Actually, her burial place was at Forest Hill cemetery, Osceola Twp. & Co., MI. Picture places her between two sister, Loretta and Ella.
Old timers give Woodland cemetery as the east end of Forest Hill cemetery. It is heavily wooded.
