1911-2007 - The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls Friday March 9, 2007, at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Charles and of the late Albina (Monette) Gauthier.Wife of the late Elpheda Trépanier and of the late William Purcell. Loving mother of Denise Philippe (Wilfred) of Sturgeon Falls, Horace (late Audrey) of Cambridge, Myrella Wright (Barry) and Jacqueline Guérin (Wilfrid) both of Sudbury, Bernard of Desaulniers, Ghislaine St. Germain (Gilles) and Rejeanne Davidson (Mark) both of Verner and Rita Mascherin (Janet Graham) of Toronto. Predeceased by her sons and daughter George, Euclide, Denis (late Barbara) and Eliette Zorne (late Ed). Also predeceased by her brothers Adélard, Horace, Albert, Joseph and their wives and by her sisters Lydia, Bertha Hurtibise, Natalia Larivière, Rose Mercier, Desmerise Larivière, Georgiana Martin and their husbands. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 38 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two grandsons, Brian Phillippe and Marc Trépanier (wife Kim of Toronto) and by her granddaughter Sharon Trépanier (husband Britt of Glencoe). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Monetteville September 13, 1911, Clarisse lived a long and happy life and now her family cherishes the many memories left to those she loved
family will receive friends at the THÉORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls , Monday from 7-9 p.m.Tuesday friends may call from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be held Wednesday March 14,2007 at 11 a.m., in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Burial in Field Cemetery next to her late husband Elpheda and her late son Euclide, to follow in the spring.
The family wishes to thank the Angels at the Pavillon for their exceptional care. Adieu chère maman, tu nous manqueras beaucoup.
