Hello Diana:
I checked my material and couldn't definitely find the persons you are looking for. I don't know if you know of this website but if you go to and click on the Matthew Trenholm of Falmouth Nova Scotia that would be my line. If you click on Matthew's father Robert John it will take you back several more generations, you may find some names you are looking for there. Robert John did have two sons named Thomas, however they both seem to have died as children. It could indicate though that Thomas may have been a name that was used in the family. Maybe we connect a bit further back. Robert John also did have several other sons who remained in England and there is also some information there about these families. Hope this helps.
