No. I'm not a Redden.

I'm a granddaughter of William Nathan READY, who was the third child (older siblings are John and Maime) of the Amelia Ann TRENHOLM/Joseph READY marriage. William Nathan was born in Boston on 6 April 1881. They were not in Boston in the 1880 census.

While William was an infant/toddler, Amelia Ann got consumption and took William home to her father, Benjamin Trenholm Sr. Maime was placed in a convent and/or orphanage. I don't know what happened to John and Joseph Ready.

Since I keep coming up with dead ends, I thought I would try to learn why they came to Boston in hopes of finding that illusive lead.
