Dear Mr Edwards
I am looking for any information on Tremeers, which has turned out to be a more common name than I anticipated! My mother has more info - I must still determine the furthest back member of our branch of family. Off hand, it is my grandfather, still living, Alfred William Tremeer, who comes from Nottinghamshire (I am not sure whether he was born there). He and my grandmother, Jessie Martin, moved first to Rhodesia, then South Africa, in about 1960 and 1985 respectively.

Although I have been interested in the family history for years, it was a chance idea to search the Net today that led me to you. I hope you can help - or I can help you!

Yours sincerely,
Amanda Tremeer
