John Trembly/Trembley 1834-1907 buried in Rahway, New Jersey

I need some additional information on John's Civil War service. I know he served in the 10th Tennessee Infantry (US), but was supposedly originally drafted into the Confederate service at the outbreak of the war in 1861 since he was living in Georgia at the time. In 1862 he claims to have deserted to the Union side.

I want to identify the Confederate regiment he served with.

Any help or leads appreciated.
