I am interested in this posting as my grgrandmother Amelia THOMAS had a sister Elizabeth THOMAS. However I do not know what happened to her.

I have found a photo in my father's belongings of my father Robert Edward HARDMAN, Robert DENNIS and Jack TREMBATH.

Robert DENNIS is the son of Amelia THOMAS from her first marriage and was born in 1870, two months after his fatherís death - from smallpox caught on the train going north looking for work.

Amelia also went north looking for work and met my grgrandfather Robert HARDMAN (1851 -1927) whom she married on the 13th September 1873 in Todmorton, Yorkshire.

In 1950 my parents went from Rhodesia to England for their honeymoon and Jack TREMBATH took them all over Devon and Cornwall showing them all the interesting places he had patrolled during the War.

So my question is - is Jack TREMBATH the son of the sister of my grgrandmother ???

Here's hoping somebody knows the answer !
