My gg grandfather Andrew Jackson Tremains was born in Williams Co., Ohio Jan. 25, 1840 and died in Hillsdale Co, MI on Jan. 16, 1920. His parents were John Tremains and Hannah Harrier both born reportedly born in PA. AJ's father apparently died when he was a boy and his mother remarried (possibly to Daniel Barrett). I know nothing more about his parents and any siblings except that the step father died in a cyclone in Kunkle, Williams Co. Ohio probably around 1880. AJ was a civil war vet. I have service info and much info about his descendents I would be happy to share if we can connect. His descendents spell their name Tremaine.
