Hi,
I am researching the name of HIGGOW (and other spellings.) The Phillimore for Wendron, page 45, shows a marriage:
Samuel HOSKIN and Mary TRELOAR 6 Feb 1763.
I believe the name of the groom to be wrong and should read Ishmael HIGGAW. They had many children and I am a descendant. Unsure who Mary's parents were.
Have you seen the register's film ? I haven't yet.
