I was stating in my first message that my Great-grandparents were from that area.
It appears that my grandfather moved away from Mier y Noriega and came to Texas.

He married my grandmother in Duval County, Texas. It seems that he wanted to return to Mexico but it never happened.

I am interested in finding if there is a San Jose de Medina area close by to Mier y Noriega.

Currently, I live in South Texas. My research on my Trejo line indicates that we may have had three generations of Trejo's that lived in that area.

Thank you for writing.
