MY GRANDMOTHER WAS BORN ELLEN TREGILGAS IN LIVERPOOL ENGLAND JANUARY 4 1891, DIED AUGUST 11 1939.
HER PARENTS WERE WILLIAM TREGILGAS AND CATHERINE CHALLINOR.
WILLIAM TREGILGAS WAS KNOWN AS 'THE CORNISHMAN'.
WILLIAM TREGILGAS WAS BORN APPROX 1860 & DIED APPROX 1908.
CATHERINE TREGILGAS neeCHALINOR WAS BORN JUNE 11 1863, DIED DECEMBER 1951.
I HAVE A STRONG INTEREST IN THE TREGILGAS SIDE OF MY FAMILY AND WOULD LOVE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THEM, PARTICULARLY WHERE THEY ORIGINATED FROM IN CORNWALL.
MY MOTHER ALWAYS REFERED TO HERSELF AS A TREGILGAS. SHE SAID I HAVE THE TREGILGAS WAYS. [WHATEVER THEY MAY BE]
WILLIAM & CATHERINE HAD 10 CHILDREN.
I'M AN AUSTRALIAN LIVING IN QUEENSLAND.
ANY INFORMATION WOULD GE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
