Here is the list Glen came up with of "unknown" Trefethen marriages,
and "unknown" Trefethen men or women generally. He went through to
1800 on this.


Abigail Trefethen, bapt. 19 Nov. 1732, Newcastle, NH.

Sarah Trelaven md. Joshua Churchill, 28 Nov. 1746, Boston, MA.

Susanna Trefethen md. Abraham Briant, 12 Dec. 1751, Falmouth [Portland], ME.

Charity Trefethen md. Peter George, 18 Apr. 1753, Biddeford, ME.

Sarah Trefetheren md. Miles Staples, (int.) 19 May 1753, Kittery, ME.

Sarah Trefethen md. Miles Staples, 11 June 1753, Kittery, ME.

Abigail Trefethen md. Enoch Remick, (int.) 23 June 1753, Kittery, ME.

Susanna Trefethen of Newcastle, NH, singlewoman, charged John Obey with
being the father of her unborn child, 28 Feb. 1755. Obey/Obie was to appear
in court the following March, but his recognizance was discharged, "the
Woman being Dead." NH Province Court Records, Docket 7478.

Elizabeth Trefethen md. John Yeaton, 9 Oct. 1758, Newcastle, NH.

Elizabeth Trefethen md. Joseph Yeaton, 9 Oct. 1758, Rye, NH.

Martha Trefethen (?of Newcastle, NH), singlewoman and spinster, had an
illegitimate child in April 1763. Sarah Pain, widow, and Mrs. Randell,
midwife, were witnesses. NH Province Court Records, Docket 14799.

James Trefferon (?I may have the spelling wrong...could not find the
original record on this one) md. Sarah Arickson, ------- (I can't remember
the date), 1770, Portsmouth, NH.

Susanna Trefethen md. John Shannon, 1 Nov. 1783, Newcastle, NH.

I realize I have sort of skipped over some of the unknown males: James
Trefren (Leitha's earliest fellow); Moses "Sr." and "Jr."; Sampson; James
who md. Sarah Arickson, possibly second, Anna and had son James, dau's
Elizabeth, Sarah, Peggy King, Nancy, and Sukey; and George who starts being
taxed in the late 1750's or early 1760's in Newcastle.
