Hi Mary Lou,

I've had trouble finding documentation, but Peter's father seems to be John Trees, Revolutionary War Soldier(17 Jan 1756-4 Mar 1826) m. Barbara (1759-1839). John and Barbara are linked by Revolutionary War pension applications. Peter Trees is recorded in the Huntingdon County Will Books applying to administer the estate of John Trees about a month after the date of John's death. There is no will. At least one successful SAR application documented the link 60 or 70 years ago (James Blaine Mauk). Also, they're all linked by geography (Blair county was split off from Huntingdon about 1846-7).

Regards,

Brett
