I was hoping that this was he. But in the letter of 1852
he was not happy with his job, so may have went into another
type of job. He had passed the math test to be an officier,
so did have skills in this department. Beings Josiah was
not a common name in England at this time, I thought the
odds ran to this being him. Thanks for getting the
record!
