Hi Dennis,

mucking around on google and your post came up.

Betty Tredinnick - has also corresponded with my sister Carole who has misplaced all her family searches (pre computer) as a cousin of ours as well.

I can remember Carole saying that Betty was the last of our direct family in Cornwall.

I have just started delving and my great grandfather Stephen is the son of Joseph and Sarah Dale Tredinnick. born 1852 canme to Australia bout 1870 and married Margaret Scott (Victoria) the moved to near Newcastle NSW and my grandfather Joseph was born.

Joseph was a tin assayer in St Agnes/ Breague Cornwall.

Stephens brother Joseph and his wife Jane immigrated prior to Stephen and proceeded to have many children, some of which ended up Ministers in the Methodist Church.

Coindicdently a local here is the great grandson of J & J.

Our family always said 2 brothers came here and the rest to USA. However another source said also to many countries including South Africa and New Zealand.

I have put a small family tree on MY Heritage but have not paid $$$ to publish rest yet.

Deciding which one to use.

HELP is appreciated from this Tredinnick Aussie Susan
