Not to make you even more confused, but there are plenty of other more "distant" cousins here in Cleveland as well.

The Treat family married in to the Holbrook family in the 1700's. Hannah Treat (b.1718), g-grandaughter of Gov. Robert Treat of Connecticut, (John-> Samuel-> Gov. Robert) married Abiezer Holbrook of Massachusetts and moved to Maine. That line decends to my great grandfather who moved to Illinois then Cleveland in the early 1900's.

I am then 9 generations removed from Hannah... as I said "distant".
