You've got much of the family line, and maybe have more since your posting. You are, however, off course in a couple of areas. James W. Treasure married Georgietta Trumbull on 31 Dec 1866 in Cincinnati, Ohio. James died on 4 Mar 1876, also Cincinnati. James, like his father and brother Edwin, was a shoemaker. According to the pension application filed by Georgietta after James W.'s death, he served in the 39th Ohio Regiment of Volunteers during the Civil War, serving 1862-1865, and contracted chronic diarrhea at Corinth, Mississippi. According to Georgietta's statement, the James died from the affects of the chronic diarrhea. She was eventually awarded a widow's pension. James & Georgietta had two children, Nettie (b 11 mar 1868) and Jessie (b 4 Dec 1872), both in Cincinnati, Ohio. You've captured Jessie's info correctly, but didn't mention that she died in Los Angeles, California, on 31 Aug 1950. Nettie, however, did not marry Edwin Potter. First, Edwin Treasure, James' brother, did not go to Wisconsin. Instead, by 1870, he had moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where he established the "Standard Shoe Company". He and his wife Kate had no living children. After James died, Nettie went to live with Edwin & Kate in Minnesota. Nettie eventually married a man named George Hurd on 12 Jul 1887. George Hurd made his money in real estate and died between 1920 and 1930. After his death, Nettie moved to California. Nettie died in California on 28 Sep 1951 in Los Angeles. Nettie and George had one child, Evaline, born in Feb 1890 in Minnesota. As for the rest of the Treasures, James the father, was a shoemaker who traveled and settled in Canada. He fled to the US in about 1837 after he was marked as an insurgent during an uprising in lower Canada. He and Mary Cadby went at that time to Jennings County, Indiana, where Mary Cadby's brother, Stephen Cadby, and settled (I come from Stephen Cadby's line). That's where Edwin and James were born. Eventually James & Mary settled in Cincinnati. Mary Cadby, BTW, was born in Devizes, England, not Frome. In addition to her brother, Stephen Cadby, she had another brother, Charles Cadby, who remained in England and found fame and fortune as a piano maker. Edwin Treasure and Kate eventually sold their shoe business in 1889 and moved to California, bought a ranch and raised fruit. Kate Bryant Treasure died 15 Dec 1907 and is buried in Mt View Cemetery in Fresno. Fanny Treasure married David H. Jones on 3 Jun 1849 in Cincinnati. He died 8 Oct 1865. They had 8 children. Eliza Treasure was born 29 Nov 1833 in Toronto, and died 27 Nov 1910. She married James Berry on 26 Aug 1854, but he died in 1862, leaving her with 3 children. I think things were rough no her for a while, and she worked as a servant until she eventually remarried a Mr. Vedder. She is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery under the name of Mrs. Eliza Berry Vedder. Mary Ann Treasure was born 23 Sep 1835 in Toronto and died 17 Oct 1902. She married George Wesley Legg. They had two children. Emma Jane Treasure was born 10 May 1838 in Buffalo, New York. She married Benjamin T. Bennett on 15 Mar 1858. She died in 1925. They had 7 children. Mary Elizabeth Treasure was born 6 May 1847 in Kentucky and died 7 Mar 1935. She married Oliver Perry Conklin 27 Nov 1866. They had 3 children. I have additional info if you want it, and also have photo of James Treasure (the father), Mary Cadby, and their female children. I also have a family reunion photo from about 1880 prior to James' death, although almost everyone in the photo is unidentified. I don't have any photos of James W., Georgietta, Nettie, Jessie, or James' brother Edwin, and his wife Kate. If you have any photos, I'd love to see them. Again, I'm not a direct descendent of this line, but I can also put you in touch with a couple of folks who are and who provided much of this info. Let me know.
