I am trying to trace my family tree but not having much joy as the family is fractured and lacking any real info but here is what I have so far. .
My GG Grandfather was called Charles and was married to Anne and had 2 children Charles Clement Treadwell and Rita Treadwell born around 1934 and 1935/36 they were raised in the Great Bar area of Birmingham UK.
My Grandfather married (name unknown) and they had 1 son Graham (my Father)but his mother, my natural grandmother, left when he was very young and left to live in Weymouth or Torquay, and he has had no contact since and does not speak of her.
My Grandfather remarried a Monica Eif from Derby UK some time in the late 50s or early 60s and had no children.
My grandfather died in Birmingham or maybe Telford in about 1978/79. Before he was retirted he was an MD at an engineering factory in B'ham so Im told. .
Does any of this seem familiar to anyone here. . ???
