Posted this on another site and in case someone else is researching James Henry Treadwell and Elvira/Ella Scott or Rosetta Scott who lived in Pope Co AR in 1900 and 1910.
Found this which I believe explains some of our questions.....,
"This James seems to have
had a nickname of Dick. So I thought his name was James Richard. I have
decided to use all 3 names for on the 1900 census he is listed as James
H. for Henry?
I do know he married Margaret Arthur and she is the daughter of Carrol
and Lucinda. Then second he married Elvira Scott. I think I found her
in Searcy Co. daughter of Geo. Franklin Scott. She was said to have
attended an Indian School and Ok. Also, educated as a teacher of Indian
schools. She had a brother who was blind and his name I think was Paleg
and he was called Paley. In1900, a Rosetta Scott is living with Ella and
James Treadwell. She is Ella's neice.
I received my Treadwell info on this family from Thelma Bradford of Ft.
Smith Ar. 479 452 0025 telephone number. I think she might help family
researchers more than I, but contact either of us. Also, recieved info
from Marjorie Rees of near Little Rock, Ar. who is related to the
Sanders family."

(In 1877 we find the marriage of Ella.)(Elvira)
(Treadwell, James H., 26. to Miss Ella Scott, 20, both of Independence Twp
., 22 Feb 1877, E-111. )(must be Pope Co AR)
Believe Rosetta Scott first married a Hamilton and had two children Hugh and Reba then married (Charles) Lester Sims in Pope co AR before 1920.
These people are not in my files....yet.
