Hello. My name is Bellinda Myrick-Barnett and my great grandfather was named Hudson H. SLAUGHTER, born:March 10, 1849 in Greene County, Alabama, (later called Pickens,) who married Claranda "Clara" WILLIAMS, born: Abt. 1840 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana or in Liddieville, Franklin Parish, Louisiana.Hudson H. SLAUGHTER had a brother named James M. SLAUGHTER and a sister, Susan M. SLAUGHTER, who married a man who was named E. B. TREADWELL.So far, I have not been able to connect with any information on this TREADWELL family and don't know if he might be related to yours or not but just saw an old post of yours on www.genforum.com and thought that I would contact you and see if you recognize anything in my info. Not much to go on with 1 sole TREADWELL name but maybe the location connects. The SLAUGHTERs were white but I don't have any information on the TREADWELL family. My grandfather, Louis Hector SLAUGHTER, born:1869 in Franklin Parish, Louisiana, son of Claranda WILLIAMS and Hudson SLAUGHTER, told my mother that he was part French and part Indian but I haven't found anything of either in the SLAUGHTER family so far.....so don't know.
