Treadaway-Hoare

I'd welcome help researching a 19th c London HOARE family that gave themselves the middle name TREADAWAY, or the hyphenated last name "TREADAWAY-HOARE".

Indivduals in this family were g'father, b ~1810, father & son, all named James Treadaway Hoare. Another son of the first James was called Edmund DOWNER Hoare, b 1837; he in turn named his son, b 1864, EDWARD WILLIAM TREADAWAY HOARE. The last two names were sometimes hyphenated, as "Treadaway-Hoare".

In the latter half of the 19th c the family was centered in Clerkenwell, a section of London; several of them were "Licensed Victualers".

Edward William Treadaway Hoare was married three times, to: Alice Jane DAY, then to Florence Mabel BOUND, then to Elsie HOOPER. His sons were named Edward, Edmund, Alexander, Eric Lester and Colin Guy.

We'd very much like to know more about this family, and in particular how the name TREADAWAY came into the Hoare family.
