William Butler Treadaway born 08 May 1827 in Anson Co., North Carolina, married Easter Lou Jarmon. Easter was born 30 Jan 1829 in North Carolina, the daughter of Jesse Jarmon/Jerman and Mary Sinclair. William lived in Marshville, Union Co., North Carolina. He was the postmaster for the Marshville, Union Co., North Carolina Post Office. William and his family were listed in the 1860 Richardson Creek, Union Co., North Caroline Census, and the 1870 and 1880 New Salem, Union Co., North Carolina Census. Easter died 29 Mar 1870. William died 06 Apr 1915, and is buried near Hamilton's Crossroads in the Treadaway Family Cemetery, Marshville, Union Co., North Carolina. Their children were:

9. Beadie Treadaway, b: 1868, Union Co., NC
10. Idella Treadaway, b: Unknown, Union Co., NC
