J.C. "JACK" TREADAWAY - NORTH CAROLINA
Posted by: Barbara Kelley (ID *****0437) Date: August 10, 2002 at 06:44:18

This is sort of an attatchment to the CASS TREADWAY posting. I found a picture of my great-great grandfather J.C "Jack" Treadaway and realized it is the same Cass that I am looking for. It turns out that he did spell his name with the A in his name and it was dropped by his son Henry Mangum. I assume that the C in Jack's name stands for Cass. Jack was born May 7 1854 and died Feb 25 1923. He married Adaline Medlin; born Sep 30 1850, died Jan 27 1901. His son, Henry died in Charlotte, North Carolina, although, I dont know if he was born there. With this new information, I am hoping that someone may be able to shed some light.
