Thomas Didymus Traywick's family in SC

I am a decendent of Thomas Didymus Traywick as well. Thomas Didymus married Susannah Barkley (not sure when) and then went to Arkansas to enlist in the Confederate Army. He died of measles in camp. Susannah Barkley Traywick was back in Anson, NC. One of their sons (Sophronia Ann's brother- anyone know of the other siblings?) was Joseph Bascombe Traywick. He was born in Anson, but moved down to Cope, SC (outside of Orangeburg) to help on his uncle Joseph Benjamin Traywick's (f/o Asa Paul Traywick) farm. He married Edna Ione Tatum. They had a son named Thomas Tatum Traywick who was my grandfather. He married Elizabeth Deaver and they had Thomas Tatum Traywick, Jr. (currently in Camden, SC), James Deaver Traywick (Cope, SC), Joseph Bascombe Traywick, II (my father - Spartanburg, SC) and Susannah Barkley Traywick Godowns (Cope, SC). My brother, Joseph Bascombe Traywick, III, just had a son with his wife, Marianne Marye Traywick, and they've named him Joesph Bascombe Traywick, IV, and he is being called "Bascombe." We are curious as to where Bascombe originally came from. Does anyone know?
