My name is Linda Miller, I was married to Michael Travioli in 1966. My daughter Roxan has listed in this forum. The Michael Travioli I was married to was born on February 16, 1945. He was 6'5" tall, had red hair and green eyes. We were married on April 1, 1966 in Santa Monica, Ca. in a chapel on, I beleive, 4th st. We had 3 children, Roxan Dawn Travioli, Michael David Travioli and Heather Lee Travioli. I am unsure what his middle name is though he did tell me at one time it was Ophelia. We became seperated on August 21,1969. He had a brother Barney who was mentally retarded. Barnie was older than Mike. He also had a younger sister named Marlee. There was a tv news item in the early 1970's about Barney and his wife. They were living in a rehabilitation facility in Orange County, Ca. The only part of the name of the facility I remember was Rancho something. Barney and his wife, who was in a wheel chair and may have been retarded also, had had a son. The county was trying to take their son away from them as the county stated they were unfit to care for their child. I remember Barney was interviewed about this on tv. I do not know what happened with this. Mike's sister Marlee after being in and out of foster homes, as she was also retarded, eventually moved north, somewhere near San Francisco and married a biker, having children. That is all I know of his siblings accept that they had the dark hair and coloring of their parents.
I had met Mike's parents, but they refused to have anything to do with us after we married. I also met one of Mike's grandmothers but I don't remember her name. All I remember was that she lived in Orange County and she said she was Greek.
Due to Mike's coloring he always felt that he had a different father. I ran into him in the ealy 1980's and he told me that he had found out about his real father and that his real last name is Evidson. At that time Mike was living in Lawndale, Ca.
Mike did call me to ask that I tell my children that he had kidney disease and only had 5 years to live. Roxan was the only one who contacted him. It should be noted that Mike claimed to have had 15 children by many different women. Other that my 3, I do not know anything about that. I believe that Mike was still living in Lawndale at that time.
