Dennis:
I have record of a Joseph Travioli, son of Dominic Travioli, born in 1831 in Jefferson County, New York and in 1837 at the age of 6 years moved to Licking County, Ohio with his parents Dominic and Abigail Travioli, 3 brothers and 6 sisters to Madison Township, Licking County, Ohio. I have no further information on Joseph. I was unaware that any of the Travioli were in the Civil War. I have found no Civil War military records of them in Ohio, Indiana or Illinois. I would like to have the information you have found.
I have the Travioli lineage back to Switzerland and the book "The Seven Generations of the descendeants of Aquila and Thomas Chase" published in 1928 will take you back on Abigail's lineage to the immigrant Chase. I have Dominick and Abigail's children and I am willing to share the information I have. If you are interested send me an e-mail. My Travioli lineage is through Dominick's eldest son Napoleon. Happy hunting.
Palmer
