Verla,

When my Great Great Grandparents, John Compton and Lucinda Travillain md in 1812 in Wilson Co. TN. William Harris was the bondsman. Very little has been developed on William Harris' family. In "The Silver Horse", written by Ray Allen Trovillion, it is stated that William and Nancy Travillian moved to Fredonia, Ky. Fredonia is in far Western Caldwell Co. Children listed are Obadiah, un-named daughter who md a man named Davenport, Calvin, Lucy who md Jordan Crayne, John, and Mary Ella.
