Travers - Ireland - sixteenth century
Does anyone out there know if there is a connection between Sir John Travers (1500-1562) who was Master of Ordnance in Ireland in Henry VIII's reign, and John Travers who left England for Ireland c 1580 and was the father of Sir Robert Travers who fell at Knocknanuss in 1647?
Grateful for any pointers.
