The "Olive Trask" of Tatnic Hills (near York, ME remains elusive. Will have to work backwards and see if I can find parents of Civil War's "James O. Trask" b. 1838.
Progenitor of the New England family was probably Capt. William Trask of the 1650s...his descendants spread into NH and ME. Thanks for the info...
