Hi K. Hines,

I think that the farm must have belonged to Retire Trask's son Benjamin Trask.
Rock Creek, OH is in Ashtabula County.
I think that Retire Trask's land was in Geauga County, OH.

If you are ever in Geauga County, the old Bartlett Cemetery is still there. The couple who own the old Bartlett farm and cemetery are very nice, according to my father.
Many of your husband's ancestors are buried there. Not all have stones or markers.Probably some were wooden and long since decayed.
Asenith Bartlett is supposed to be buried between her 2 husbands - Retire Trask and Elihu Emmons.

If you need information from me, please let me know.
I do have some ancestry information, mostly gathered by my sister over the years.
I mostly have Trask/Ransom descendant information.

I would be interested in your family information. You can contact me at

Thank you,
Sandi Ransom Stoklosa
