Traphagens in Rockford IL, circa 1920

I am doing research on behalf of my aunt whose mother was Vera Traphagen. Vera was born in Illinois circa 1902 and is living with her parents in Rockford, IL in the 1920 census. Vera's father was Harry T. who was born in New York circa 1875. Harry's father is also living with Harry in 1920. His name was William T. He was born circa 1831 in New York. William's father was born in New York and his mother in New Jersey. Does anyone have any information which would tie William back into the larger circle of NY/NJ Traphagens which Chris Brooks and others of you have so well researched? Thanks in advance.
