I didnt answer second part of your question, because, I never knew this side of the family. Our line goes.
Henry Utt 1720 Germany
Elias 1749 Northamptn Co PA w. Lucretia Solomon
Adam 1792 Mountainhome PA w Sarah Mills
Lucy 1830 (Almeron 1825 sister) h. Andrew Sommers
Sarah 1859 Mountainhome h. John Sherbaugh
Bertha 1895 (my grandmother) m Raymond FUsselman 1013
Leonard 1918 E. Stroudsburg PA

Bertha Died in 1919 at 24 and Raymond remarried and took his three sons with new wife to NYC where he was RR conductor on NYC Subway. My father married my Mom in 1946 and I was born in NYC in 1948. My parents only went back
to E Stroudsbug PA a couple of times without me. I only located my Grandmothers Grave a few years ago. I got alot of Information from Mike Shepard a gggrandson of George Sommer a son of Lucys, I also got alot of info from Gerri Brennen off this site, she is genealogist in PA Monroe Co. Also from Monroe Historical Society. You can go to site and call them to request info, but unles you know family, you wont get the intimate details of why Gertrude or if she had Daisy out of wedlock. I only found out about Grace when I got my Ggrandfather civil war pension. (Sarahs husband and she got in alot of trouble and depositions were in the folder straight from her mouth. She in her own words said Grace was her daughter out of wedlock, before she married. I would advise you to get Almerons Civil War Pension. I looked it up last night on Google. He was in the 181st Reg. Pa Check it out There is alot of certified material in Pension files.
John Sherbaugh. So sometimes its not verifiable.
