Soldier was born in 1759 in Northampton Co., PA and he lived there at enlistment and lived in several twps in said co after the Rev and then moved to Monroe Co. One Mary Christina Transue made aff'dt in 1834 in Northampton Co., PA and stated she was the widow of soldier's brother, (not named). Soldier's son Abraham Transue signed p.o.a 1852 in Monroe Co., PA as 1 of the sons of the soldier Philip (others not named).
