My notes on your Robert: 1820 N.C. Census RCK Co. #185 It is thought Robert came to Ga. between 1815-18. Deeds show that he bought land in 1821. It is likely that he came into Habersham Co. when his brother Jehu came into Habersham.
1830 Habersham Co. Ga.Census #29-65. Robert sold land 8-27-1833 Deed-Lot #131, 11th. Dist. Habersham Co. to Gabriel Hughes $150.00. Wit: Edw. Williams, John Hafner, J.P. Jehu Trammell sold land Deed- Lot #7- 3rd Dist to Robert Trammell, both of Habersham Co. for $600.00. Wit: Sam C. Fain, Chas. Crumly- Mar 10, 1835 Robert & Jehu still in Habersham in 1839.
1850 Gilmer Co. Ga. Census Ellijay Co. Seat. It is possible there were older children married & in their own homes.

EARLY GENEALOGICAL AND HISTORICAL RECORDS, HABERSHAM COUNTY GEORGIA, by Herbert B. Kimzey, pg. 10:
The fifty-fourth (pioneer settler to come into the county) was Robert Trammell and John Adamson.

Jehu (sometime listed as John) & Robert were sons of William T. Trammell, Revolutionary Soldier & Zelpha Lynch.
