My mother was Corinne TRAMMELL b.1904 Clayton Co, GA; d/o Doss Cullen TRAMMELL b. 1868 Lincoln Co, GA. Doss's ancestry recedes through Wade Hampton TRAMMELL b. 1828 Lincoln Co, GA, d. 23 Aug 1890 in Clayton Co., GA; William TRAMMELL (1764-1850); Thomas Trammell, b. abt 1710 in Stafford Co., VA, d. abt 1807 in Wilkes Co., GA; John TRAMMELL Sr b. 1675 Stafford Co, VA, d. 1755 in Falls Church, Fairfax Co., VA; to Thomas TRAMMELL b. 1645-1650 Devonshire, England, d. abt 1725 in Stafford Co., VA..

Of course, our TRAMMELL ancestors did like so many others, i.e. fanned out in all directions from east coast ports. They followed the "new land" opportunities as they opened up, passing through the South and Midwest on into Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and all the way to the left coast. I've included in my gathering as much information as I can find about these ancestral relatives also.

So, I have quite a large file of TRAMMELLs (various spellings) and am more than willing to share and compare information.
